The Par Hills receiving corps will be getting plenty of opportunities with senior Greg DePugh passing the ball.

The 2009 Parsippany Hills Vikings enter a new season with a new schedule in a new conference. But this Viking team will sport a familiar face with third year quarterback Greg DePugh leading the charge. Head coach Dave Albano knows this conference will not be easy but he will focus on DePugh’s talent to help them carry them threw.

“We like to throw.” Albano said of his game plan. “This season I think you will see us throw more than we normally do.”

Albano’s Vikings face some new opponents in this conference but he feels no team has an advantage over another. “Jefferson is a defending State Champion, Montville is always good and Pope John has a great program. We don’t really know them like we did the (Iron Hills teams) but they don’t really know us either. So I think it will be fun.”

OFFENSE

Just like any other season, you can expect coach Dave Albano’s Vikings to be aggressive with the passing attack. But what is exciting about this year in particular is Par Hills are bringing back third year starter Greg DePugh. For the last two seasons, DePugh was one of the top quarterbacks in the conference. So sky is the limit for the 6’3”, 205 senior gun-slinger as he enters his senior season.

What’s even better for DePugh is he brings back last year’s favorite target in the 6’2”, 190lb senior wideout Chris Brazicki and the tall, sure handed senior John Murphy (6’5”, 160lbs). He will also have another nice target in the speedy   ...Read More
